SPAP PhD Student Wins Outstanding GA Award

Sarah Dowman, graduate assistant of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese, has been awarded the Outstanding GA Award from the Graduate School for the year 2016-2017. This award recognizes Sarah’s work in redesigning the GA position in the department and revitalizing the department’s image through the creative design of flyers and posters used to promote the department and publicize events. Besides acknowledging Sarah’s hard work, the award serves as a reminder of her dedication to the excellence of the department.
