Persian Studies Academic Programs
Undergraduate students can pursue a B.A. in Persian studies or a minor in Persian studies. Students wishing to achieve advanced proficiency in Persian should also consider the Flagship Scholar Certificate through the University's Persian Language Flagship Program. This certificate can be combined with many other majors. Graduate students can apply for the new M.P.S. in Persian and explore additional opportunities for graduate study in Persian, including at the Ph.D. level.

About the Persian Program
The Persian program offers a B.A. and a minor for undergraduate students and an M.P.S. in Persian for graduate students, and remains committed to providing a diverse, rigorous curriculum that offers students the opportunity to achieve a high level of proficiency in the Persian language as well as attain a broader understanding of Persian culture, history, art and literature.
Graduate students also have the opportunity to explore an education in Persian at the Ph.D. level through partnerships with various departments and in collaboration with the Graduate School.
