Lucian Jessel receives the 2025 AnneGerald E. and Martha M. Kightlinger Family Student Support Current-Use Fund for German Studies

Lucian Jessel is a nontraditional student pursuing a triple degree in German studies, government and politics, and international business. A heritage German speaker, he joined the German studies department to practice the language in daily life and share his love of German culture with others. His interests include humanitarian aid and immigration law, and he hopes his knowledge of languages and politics will lead to a career with the United Nations after graduation.
