Soirée Crêpes: Virtual Crêpe Making Class

Attend a virtual crêpe making class with Clara Bichon and Guilhem Le Saux

Join two of our French graduate students and TA’s to make crêpes and salted caramel sauce! Instructions will be in French and in English, all levels welcome.

To cook alongside Clara and Guilhem, you will need the following:

Ingredients for the crepes :

  • Half a liter of milk (a little over 2 cups)
  • 250 grams of flour (2 cups)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil or melted butter
  • Butter for the pan

Ingredients for salted caramel :

  • 1 cup (200 grams) of granulated sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter, at room temperature, cut into pieces
  • Half a cup (120 ml) of heavy cream, at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon of salt

Tools : large bowl, measuring cups, a whisk, a spatula, a pan.
