Public Lecture with Pura López Colomé (in English): "José Emilio Pacheco: His Legacy as Essayist, Poet and Translator in My Own Poetry"
Pura López Colomé will deliver a lecture in English about the influence on her own work of the writing of José Emilio Pacheco (1939-2014), the Mexican writer who, from the 1980s to the 2000s, was a faculty member in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at UMD. There will be a question and answer period following her lecture, and then a light reception.
