Camila Maidana holds a B.A. in Social Communication from the National University of Córdoba (Argentina) and is currently a first-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Maryland. Her research explores Latin American cultural journalism, archives, and memory studies, with a particular focus on the Southern Cone. She examines how independent print culture and journalistic interventions shape public memory and contemporary cultural discourse in Argentina and the broader region. She has previously participated in academic research projects on subjectivity, media, and cultural practices in Córdoba.
