Bahar Jaleh is a Persian language lecturer and an Iranian-American artist who received her B.A in Graphic Design in 2009 from San Diego State University and her MFA in Visual Art in 2013 from the University of Maryland, College Park. She has taught Persian language classes at various levels during her career and is particularly interested in the interaction between art and language and the learning opportunities this interaction creates for language development in students. She is an 12 year veteran of the Persian Summer Language Institute and is also active in course content development for the Persian Flagship Program.
