French Program Undergraduate Advising

Regular advising is an integral part of success for French majors and minors.

Our advisor is available to answer all of your questions about course requirements, scheduling, pathways to success, and how to integrate an experience abroad to your curriculum. Plan to meet with the undergraduate advisor ahead of registration each semester to ensure the completion of all requirements, or to declare a French major or minor. If this is your first semester, make sure to take the Foreign Language Placement Assessment before meeting with the advisor to better understand where you will begin in the course progression.

Advising hours for Fall 2021 are a hybrid of virtual and in-person times with additional or substitute hours available weekly. Please schedule an appointment here and select your preference between a virtual or in-person meeting.
