UMD SLA presented at the annual flagship second language conference

SLA students, alumni, and faculty presented their work at Second Language Research Forum (SLRF) in Montreal, Canada.

In addition to the numerous talks and posters presented, SLA alumnus Yuichi Suzuki (Waseda University) gave a plenary talk titled “Timing” matters when “time” is fixed: Optimizing L2 learning in and beyond the foreign language classroom.” We are proud of everyone’s hard work and professionalism. It was a great occasion for the SLA family to reunite and grow.

Here is a list of the presenters:

Hyeran Ryu (PhD student), Shinah Ryu (PhD student), Mireia Toda Cosi (PhD student), Mina Song (MA student), Yuichi Suzuhi (PhD alumnus, currently at Waseda University), Sunyoung Ahn (PhD alumna, currently at University of Toronto), Sanshiroh Ogawa (PhD alumnus), Matt Coss (MA alumnus, currently at University of Alabama), Ekaterina Sudina (faculty), and Bronson Hui (faculty).
