The School of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures (SLLC) hosted its third annual Mini World Cup on Friday, April 25 at the Engineering Fields, bringing together students and faculty for an afternoon of friendly competition and school spirit. Eight teams representing different language units competed in the small-sided soccer tournament. Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Russian, French, Chinese and a combined Arabic and Persian team participated in the competition.
The Capybaras (Portuguese) claimed first place, followed by SLLC Italia (Italian) in second and Spartak Maryland (Russian) in third.
