Language House International Film Series: "Theeb" (ذيب) with the Arabic Cluster

Join students from the Language House Arabic cluster for the next installment in the International Film Series! We'll be screening the film "Theeb" (ذيب) on Monday, October 19 at 5:00pm in the International Film Lounge (0107), on the ground floor of St. Mary's Hall. English subtitles will be provided. Everyone is welcome!

Film synopsis: "Theeb" is a Jordanian film set in the Arabian Desert during World War I. It follows a young Bedouin boy who lives with his tribe in a remote desert community. When his older brother is asked to guide a traveler through the desert, Theeb secretly follows them. Their journey soon becomes dangerous, forcing Theeb to face loss, betrayal, and difficult choices as he struggles to survive. The film explores themes of family, loyalty, courage, survival, and Bedouin life.
