Hernán Sánchez Martínez de Pinillos holds a B. A and a Ph. D. in Medieval Literature (with Honors for the “Best Dissertation in Spanish Philology at the Universidad Complutense in 2000”); a Masters in Philosophy and a Ph. D in Spanish Golden Age Literature from Columbia University in New York. Professor Hernán Sánchez M. De Pinillos is Corresponding Member of the Spanish Royal Academy of History since 2012, and Member Collaborator of “Cilengua. Centro Internacional de Investigación de la Lengua Española”. Professor De Pinillos has published a scholarly edition and study of a XV century manuscript, and numerous articles in prestigious journals numerous articles on major works of Spanish and Latin American literature, including Cervantes, Lope de Vega and Quevedo. His books "Poemes en ondes hertzianes de Joan Salvat-Papasseit (Una lectura iniciática)" and "Quevedo en el origen y el fin de la modernidad” are in press with Iberoamericana Vervuert (2020). Currently professor De Pinillos is reviewing for publication the book “Cervantes and E. A. Poe in counterpoint” (Casasola).
