Event Details
This jointly sponsored event is open to the entire UMD community. We invite you to take part in sharing space for an evening of conversation on the power of justice, art, and activism.
From the makers of the film: "We believe that we are all makers whether we are in front or behind the lens. La Manplesa is made in collaboration with the activists and artists who call Mount Pleasant [in Washington D.C] home. We hope this film is a small contribution to honor this history, and to recognize the everyday revolutionaries who took to the streets and used their voice and creativity to fight for justice."
