Il Cinema Ritrovato on Tour
Il Cinema Ritrovato on Tour at UMD is organized by the Italian Program in collaboration with the Program in Cinema and Media Studies. It is a festival of restored films provided by the Cineteca di Bologna, Italy and their partners around the world.
The Italian Program is committed to the promotion of Italian language and culture in Maryland, the United States, and the world. In our academic programs, we strive to provide outstanding and innovative instruction in Italian studies to prepare students to communicate effectively in spoken and written Italian, to gain and transmit knowledge of the cultural perspectives and artistic products of Italy, and to be culturally sensitive members of today’s diverse society.
