Ghettos and Peripheries – Recital antolóxico da poesía galega

María do Cebreiro (Santiago de Compostela, A Coruña, 1976) is one of the most active and interesting poets in contemporary Galician literature. Her literary work has been compiled in the bilingual anthology Objetos perdidos (2007) and in A herba de namorar (2019), a selection of her eleven books. Among other languages, the poetry collection 'Os inocentes' has a Spanish version, while O deserto, for which she received the National Critics' Prize for the best poetry book in Galician, is available in English. A professor of Literary Theory and Comparative Literature at the University of Santiago de Compostela, she has published various essays and articles and has participated in numerous collective exhibitions.
