Join the Department of Germanic Studies for our year-long movie series: "Volk ohne Humor?: The German Comedy Film." We will be screening our last film in this semester titled: "Toni Erdmann" (Maren Ade, 2016). The award winning film "Toni Erdmann" tells a story about Winfried Conradi, a divorced music teacher, whose passion is to play pranks on people. After his dog dies, Winfried tries to reconnect with his daughter, Ines, who is pursuing a career in business consulting in Bucharest and has little time for her father. (Do be aware that films may contain disturbing images, language, and sexual content.) Traditional German food will be served at 7pm; the film will begin at 7:30pm
