Transportation Information

Shuttle Transportation to and from the College Park Marriot Hotel and Conference Center

The College Park Marriott Hotel and Conference Center offers complementary shuttle service within a three-mile radius of the hotel. This radius includes the University of Maryland Campus, the College Park Metro Station, and local shops and restaurants.

The shuttle service does not run on a regular schedule, but operates on a first-come first-serve basis. Shuttle wait times at the hotel are typically 10-15 minutes. The shuttle can hold up to 12 guests at one time.

Guests arrange shuttle pick-ups by calling the Marriott Shuttle desk at 301-985-7300.

Shuttle pick-ups to return to the hotel cannot be pre-scheduled. 

Walking Directions

                St. Mary’s Hall is located on the west end of campus, approximately half a mile from the College Park Marriott. (Click for interactive walking directions.)

Parking Options

College Park Marriot Hotel and Conference Center Parking

Complimentary on-site parking is provided for hotel guests upon check-in. Parking is available until 5:00 pm the day of check-out: guests should confirm this with the hotel upon check-out.

Parking is not available for conference attendees not staying at the hotel.

University of Maryland: Union Lane Garage Public Parking

Union Lane Garage is the closest public parking to the conference site, and is located between the Adele H. Stamp Student Union Center for Campus Life and Cole Field House.  

  

Hours of Operation: 7:00 am to 2:00 am 

Visitor Parking: $3.00 per hour

Monday-Friday: $15 Maximum Daily Rate

Weekend: $5 Maximum Daily Rate

Parking is paid through a Pay Station in the garage, and may be paid through credit or debit card, or through cash. Please note that the Pay Stations do not accept bills larger than $10.00. Parking may also be paid through the Parkmobile service, available at www.parkmobile.com or by downloading the mobile app.

University of Maryland: Campus Parking Lots Z and 1

Campus parking lots Z and 1 are the closest to the conference and hotel, respectively. They are located next to each other, both between the hotel and campus.

Parking in lots Z and 1 is restricted to cars with campus permits only from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm Monday-Friday. Cars parked in these lots may be ticketed and/or towed during these times.

Parking in lots Z and 1 is unrestricted after 4:00 pm on Monday-Friday and through the weekend of the conference. Cars may be left in Lots Z and Lot 1 overnight on Friday and Saturday nights, but must be removed from the lots before 7:00 am on Monday morning. Parking is free during these times.
