Description:                           The Language Doctors, Inc. (TLD) is looking for a Bilingual Project Manager (Korean and Japanese) who will take on the management of translation projects with the goal of delivering every project on time, within budget and within its guidelines.

Responsibilities

Coordinate internal processes to comply with the client’s requirements before initiating negotiations with translators/proofreaders.
Translation/proofreading
Ensure resource availability and allocation.
Lead rate negotiations with proofreaders and translators in order to maintain the project within the client’s budget.
Administer tests to proofreaders/translators before offering a complete report of strengths and weaknesses to support the hiring process of this particular individual.
Maintain rigorous quality control and assurance processes in order to meet the client’s requirements for each assignment.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Input data into excel sheets to compile all pertinent information and document measurements for the project’s progress and performance.
Manage multiple deadlines effectively and work with other Project Managers to ensure that all aspects of the project are handled correctly.
Report and escalate to management as needed.

Qualifications:                        Bilingual English/Korean or English/Japanese
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong working knowledge of all components of Microsoft Office.
