, The lecture portion covers historic overview of the Persian and flamenco traditions and their common elements as well as the importance of multicultural expression in the arts as proven throughout history, from the ancient Silk Road to the 15th c. traveling gypsies to the present times. The performance portion will be original music composed and arranged by Roya Bahrami incorporating flamenco improvisations by Ricardo Marlow.,
