Prerequisite: SPAN301 and SPAN303; or permission of instructor. Restriction: Must not have completed SPAN325 or SPAN321. Credit only granted for: SPAN321, SPAN325, or SPAN331. The exploration of cultures of the Iberian Peninsula from its origins until the 15th century as well as the study of historical and political events that gave rise to the Spanish state. Taught in Spanish.
