DESCRIPTION: U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI), is a nongovernmental, not-for-profit national organization dedicated to addressing the needs and rights of refugees and immigrants. The Business Development Team creates and develops relationships with business partners, with the goal of using those relationships to support our refugee and immigrant clientele and achieve our organizational mission. Currently, the team’s main focus is launching an interpreting social enterprise business, which will directly benefit refugee and immigrant clients by providing sustainable and flexible employment, while promoting interactions with community services. USCRI is dedicated to ensuring a mutually beneficial relationship with its interns. USCRI offers interns a student-friendly environment and flexible schedule. Interns are provided opportunities to learn more about the organization and the non-profit sector and enhance their professional development through weekly Brown Bag presentations and mission-related film screenings. Join the Business Development team as an Interpreting and Linguistics Intern.

SALARY LEVEL: $160-$240/month
