Printer-friendly version
1131B Martin Hall
Thursday, November 16, 2017 - 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM

Join the Department of Germanic Studies and the Clark School of Engineering for an information session about opportunities to study abroad in Germany while receiving a Dual Degree in German and Engineering at UMD.

Germany is THE most popular study abroad destination for Engineering students. Students are also pursuing in increasing numbers MA degrees in Engineering (tuition-free). They are also successfully finding employment in the field of Engineering in Germany. For these reasons, the Department of Germanic Studies and the School of Engineering at UMD have partnered up to create a unique program specifically designed for Engineering students.

Come and meet former and current GERM-ENGR peers; hear them share their experiences and successes abroad; interact with faculty in the programs; and receive information on how you can participate in this program.

Panel participants:

Dr. Regina Ianozi (SLLC Department of Germanic Studies, Advisor)

Ramsey Jabaji (School of Engineering, Advisor)

Brian Farrington Dillehay (School of Engineering, Advisor)

Conrad Zeutenhorst (Education Abroad, Advisor)

Alexander Berardo (ME ENGR-GERM Major)

Dale Aram Tassbihi (ME ENGR-GERM Major)

Nick Gross (ME ENGR-GERM Major)

For detailed information about the program and the session, contact Dr. Regina Ianozi (ianozi@umd.edu) or Ramsey Jabaji (rjabaji@umd.edu)
