Discussion with Norm Steinberg about the TV Writers Workshop

Norm Steinberg, founder of the TV Writers Workshop at Long Island University, will be in Ulrich Recital Hall on Thursday, Dec. 10, from 2:30 to 4 pm.
He will be talking about his MFA program at LIU-Brooklyn, which prepares people for a working career in television and film. Read about the course here (and watch the video): http://www.liu.edu/brooklyn/mfatv
Classes are held one day per week in the Steiner Studios, where many HBO and other shows and films are shot. A handful of Maryland undergraduates majors have attended this program. Over the course of two years, students also work as interns on various television productions.
Norm Steinberg is a Maryland alum (History), who went on to write or show-run some of the greatest films and TV programs in history, including "Blazing Saddles.”
